THE FOUNDATION

Before holding space for others,
learn to inhabit your own.

A practitioner is shaped not only by the methods they know, but by the quality of presence they bring. This programme begins with personal practice—body awareness, emotional honesty, reflective depth, relationship and the ability to remain grounded when another person’s experience unfolds.

Across nine months, participants learn through direct experience, guided study, peer practice, feedback and supervised application. The intention is not to manufacture experts quickly, but to cultivate practitioners who are embodied, discerning, compassionate and clear about the limits of their role.

WHAT YOU WILL DEVELOP

Practice, presence and responsibility
held together.

01

Embodied self-practice

Develop a consistent relationship with body, breath, emotion, attention and daily wellbeing before applying practices with others.

02

Relational presence

Learn to listen without rushing to fix, advise or interpret—and to recognise the difference between support, facilitation and treatment.

03

Integrated modalities

Experience how meditation, breath, movement, sound, reflective inquiry, nature and nourishment may be woven according to context.

04

Ethical facilitation

Work with consent, boundaries, choice, pacing, confidentiality, accessibility, referral and responsible communication.

05

Peer practice and feedback

Practise holding structured experiences, receive observation and refine your language, pacing, preparation and integration.

06

Supervised practicum

Bring learning into a real facilitation context with preparation, supervision, reflection and clear scope.

THE LEARNING ARCHITECTURE

A gradual movement
from inner practice
to held practice.

The exact calendar and module sequencing are shared during admissions. The pathway is designed to let learning settle through practice rather than remain only conceptual.

  1. 01

    Arrive in your own practice

Build awareness, steadiness and a lived relationship with the practices you may later share.

  2. 02

    Learn the foundations

Understand context, intention, preparation, facilitation language, participation choice and integration.

  3. 03

    Practise with peers

Move from observation to guided application in a learning environment where feedback is expected and welcomed.

  4. 04

    Enter supervised practicum

Plan, facilitate, reflect and refine within clearly defined wellbeing and educational boundaries.

  5. 05

    Integrate your practitioner orientation

Clarify what you are ready to offer, whom you can responsibly serve and where further learning or referral is required.

THIS MAY BE FOR YOU IF

You want to deepen both your inner work and your capacity to serve.

  • You are beginning a wellbeing or facilitation practice.
  • You already work as a coach, educator, guide or practitioner and want a more embodied foundation.
  • You are willing to practise consistently, receive feedback and work within ethical limits.
  • You value integration, relationship and responsible scope over quick certification.

CLEAR SCOPE

Practitioner development—not a clinical licence.

This is a wellbeing and facilitation pathway. It does not qualify participants to diagnose or treat medical or mental-health conditions, provide emergency care, or represent themselves as licensed clinicians unless they independently hold the required recognised qualification.

Admission, completion requirements, attendance, practicum standards and the wording of any certificate are communicated before enrolment.

ADMISSION JOURNEY

A small cohort begins with conversation.

01

Express interest

Share your background, present work and what draws you towards practitioner development.

02

Reflective conversation

Meet the Rahao team to understand the programme and consider readiness, fit and expectations.

03

Receive the admission details

Confirmed participants receive the calendar, contribution, learning agreement and preparation guidance.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Before you join the interest list

Do I need to be an existing practitioner?

No. The programme is intended for both aspiring and existing wellbeing practitioners. Readiness, self-practice and the ability to commit to the full learning rhythm matter more than collecting prior certificates.

Is the programme fully online?

The current programme information describes live online learning, peer practice and supervised practicum. Any in-person requirement will be stated clearly before admission.

Will I receive a certificate?

The final certificate wording and completion requirements should be read in the admissions information. A certificate of programme completion is not the same as a clinical licence or statutory professional registration.

Can I begin with a shorter Rahao course?

Yes. The Rahao Wellbeing Course offers an accessible way to experience the Foundation’s approach before considering a longer practitioner pathway.
